Masters choice has been in business producing corn hybrids foe quality, yield and plant health for over 26 years. John Rucker the founder of Masters Choice is, and will always be, one of my dearest friends and mentors. His commitment and vision to grow superior quality corn hybrids, while the industry concentrated on breeding corn varieties for the export market, has earned both my admiration and respect. Even today most corn companies aren't committed to the same corn qualities we believe are important; they are focused on selling us "TRAITS". They have even tried to convince us that without them we can't successfully grow corn. MC is unusual by today's standards in as much as we are smaller, independent company that owns, breeds and continually improves our foundation seed stock. We're not worried about what the others guys are doing, we are focused on continuing to improve the excellent breeding formula John has used for the past quarter of a century. John is still our head plant breeder and the foundation seed his team produces is our best asset. We don't share them with any other corn growers. We do not focus on "traits", but led by John's passion we are motivated to grow and produce healthy, hearty corn plants that bring our nations farmers excellent yield and nutrition. At Masters Choice we believe our hybrids "make a difference" to you the grower, our customer. You are NUMBER ONE with us. I will strive to hire and associate with Maters Choice only those people and employees that will partner with me to provide you with the industries best products and service. My goal is to is to represent Masters Choice as a company you can trust. A company of honor and integrity. I realize the concept of "added service" is old fashioned in today's arena of big and better business. But I understand that quality products and service, have allowed us to grow to the position we are in today, and the company we intend to continue to be. It doesn't bother me at all that we may be "out of step" with the industry giant. I want to thank all of you who are reading this now, whether you have planted our corn, or are just now considering us. My pledge to you is that we intend to serve you as honorably and respectfully as possible. We will offer you a personal touch that the "big boys" in our industry can't possibly provide. And we will maintain focus on bringing quality corn hybrids that "make a difference" to you operation.
